Those tags are there to show that the appliances have been professionally tested and that they are safe for use.
They always have a date on them, so that you can see when the next inspection is due. Our technician can advise on potentially deadly problems. You will be advised if the items are damaged, isn’t being used correctly, or just have not been checked for years – all of which could result in serious risk of injury. When you start to look at the appliances used commonly around the workplace (e.g. microwave, coffee machine, etc.) it is obvious that there are plenty of items that are in regular use and could pose potential risks.
